Kevin Madsen has been with the Forte Racing team for multiple seasons as both a driver and coach in SRO and IMSA competition. Last season, Madsen paired with good friend and co-driver Neil Langberg to pilot the #53 RP Motorsports by Forte Racing – Mclaren Artura Trophy Evo in the SRO Mclaren Trophy America series. Kevin captured 2 overall poles, 6 fastest race laps in class (most of any driver), and led more laps overall than any other driver in class.

A well-known name in Mclaren racing, Madsen finished 2nd in the SRO Intercontinental GT Series with solid performances at the renowned Spa 24hr and Indy 8hr endurance races among other showings in the Mclaren 720S GT3 car. In the Mclaren Trophy Europe series, during his debut in the Mclaren Artura Trophy car, the American driver took home two overall pole-positions and an overall race win at Misano World Circuit. Earlier this year, Madsen took part in the legendary Bathurst 12 hour in a Mclaren Artura GT4 car and left with top honors, winning the GT4 class.

Madsen’s success spreads across numerous disciplines within motorsport. He’s an 11-time sportscar racing champion, 2-time rallycross champion and was a class winner of the legendary Baja 1000 off-road event during his debut. He’s appeared on multiple TV series and shows on Speed TV, Velocity network, Netflix “Fastest Car” and was a host for Hagerty’s “Rated.” The championship-winning “Race for RP” Ligier prototype he won with in Europe during 2023 is highlighted in the popular Nintendo Switch racing game “Hot Lap Racing”.

In addition to on-track results, Madsen is well-known for his focus on driver performance and preparation before events. It’s for this reason that many of his past and current teammates share similar success. From track knowledge to sim racing to physical and mental preparation there is always something Madsen is digging into, along with his teammates, to chart a path up the podium steps. Forte Racing is excited to have Kevin and Neil on-board again for 2026 as they utilize their passion, knowledge and performance to spread awareness about Relapsing Polychondritis.
