Harvey / Liddy Move to Pro/Pro in Return to Forte Racing for 2026 McLaren Trophy America Season

Driver Duo Returns to Forte Racing Lineup with Momentum From 2025 Campaign

Monrovia, Calif. (Monday, March 16, 2026) – Forte Racing has announced that Tanner Harvey and Patrick Liddy will return to the team for the 2026 McLaren Trophy America season, moving into the highly competitive Pro/Pro class aboard the team’s McLaren Artura Trophy Evo.

After building strong chemistry during their first season together in 2025, the duo returns with valuable experience and momentum as they prepare to challenge for wins against the series’ top driver pairings. The move to Pro/Pro reflects both drivers’ development and the confidence the team has in the pairing heading into the new season.

Harvey and Liddy quickly established themselves as a competitive lineup last year, highlighted by their victory in their first McLaren Trophy America race at Road America. The pair continued to build momentum in the final two races of the season, closing the year with ProAm wins in both races and an overall third-place finish at Indianapolis Motor Speedway during the season finale. With the success and experience gained last year in the McLaren Artura Trophy Evo, along with the continued support of Forte Racing’s championship-winning program, the duo will look to build on that momentum when the 2026 season begins at Sonoma Raceway.

Harvey returns eager to continue the partnership with Liddy and the Forte Racing organization as they target stronger results in their second season together.

“I’m excited to be returning to Forte Racing for the 2026 McLaren Trophy season,” said Harvey. “The team has built an incredible program, and it’s great to continue working with such a talented group both on and off the track. Patrick and I developed strong momentum last season, and we’re looking to carry that into this year as we push for more wins and consistent results. I’m grateful for the opportunity and can’t wait to get the season started at Sonoma.”

Liddy also returns with confidence following a season that allowed the pair to grow together and develop their race craft in the highly competitive McLaren single-make series.

“I’m excited to be back with Forte Racing for the 2026 season,” said Liddy. “The team continues to raise the bar every year, and it’s great to be part of a program with such a strong group of people behind it. Tanner and I learned a lot racing together last season, and we’re coming into this year with a lot of confidence. With the level of preparation Forte brings to every event, I think we’re in a great position to have a strong season and fight at the front.”

Team owner Shane Seneviratne said the team is excited to see the pairing return with the experience they gained during their first season together.

“Patrick and Tanner made tremendous progress last season and really came together as a strong driver pairing,” said Seneviratne. “The McLaren Trophy America series is incredibly competitive, and moving into the Pro/Pro class shows the confidence we have in both of them. With the experience they gained last year and the work they’ve put in during the offseason, we’re looking forward to seeing them continue to develop and compete for strong results throughout the season.”
The McLaren Trophy America championship features identical McLaren Artura Trophy Evo race cars, giving drivers a pure and highly competitive environment to showcase their skill. The series continues to grow in popularity as a premier platform for drivers developing their careers in GT racing.

Forte Racing enters the 2026 season with a strong lineup across its programs and remains committed to providing a championship-level environment for drivers competing in McLaren Trophy America.

The 2026 McLaren Trophy America season begins at Sonoma Raceway, where Harvey and Liddy will start their campaign in the Pro/Pro class.
