ABOUT FORTE RACING

In 2023, US RaceTronics underwent a significant rebranding, emerging as Forte Racing, a name that embodies our strengthened commitment to excellence and innovation in the motorsport industry. Established in 2005, US RaceTronics (USRT) quickly asserted its presence in the Atlantic championship season, laying the foundation for a legacy of success built on hard work and dedication.

From 2006 to 2009, USRT continued its winning streak in the Atlantic series, with drivers Simona De Silvestro and Frankie Muniz leading the charge. The team’s achievements during this period include 21 podiums, 7 poles, 5 race wins, and a notable 3rd place finish in the 2009 Championship standings.

Following the conclusion of the Atlantic Series, owner Shane Seneviratne transitioned to the IndyCar Series, showcasing his expertise and leadership at HVM Racing and later as a Consultant at KV Racing Technology in 2013.

In 2015, Seneviratne joined O’Gara Motorsports as Race Team Director, where the team dominated the Lamborghini Blancpain Super Trofeo North America Series, securing multiple championships with driver Richard Antinucci and Amateur driver Ryan Ockey.

USRT’s legacy of success continued in 2019, with Damon Ockey and Jacob Eidson clinching the North American Pro-Am Championship and rookie Steven Aghakhani making history as the youngest World Champion in Lamborghini Super Trofeo history.

Amidst the challenges posed by the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020, USRT demonstrated resilience and determination, with Steven Aghakhani and Jacob Eidson finishing as runners-up in the Pro Championship and John Hennessy emerging as the LB Cup World Champion.

In 2021, the team continued to showcase its resilience and talent, securing podium finishes and championships, including John Hennessy’s victory at the LB Cup World Championship.

Forte Racing stands as a beacon of excellence and innovation in the motorsport industry, driven by a relentless pursuit of success and a passion for racing that defines our identity.

“As Lamborghini Squadra Corse we are glad to welcome in GTD the team Forte Racing. The crew is well known in our family coming from successful seasons in our Lamborghini Super Trofeo North America. Together with our junior and factory drivers involved with Forte Racing, we are ready for this new exciting challenge."
