NEIL LANGBERG

BIRTH DATE: JULY 30, 1953
NATIONALITY: AMERICAN

Neil Langberg joined Forte Racing in 2025. Langberg, who will co-pilot the #53 Race for RP/Relapsing Polychondritis Motorsports Forte McLaren Artura Trophy EVO with veteran co-driver Kevin Madsen in the inaugural McLaren Trophy America season, brings a wealth of experience both as a seasoned competitor on the racetrack and a successful professional in the investment management world. Throughout his racing career, Langberg has participated in prestigious series including the Pure McLaren Series, McLaren Trophy Europe, and IMSA’s Ferrari Challenge Series. Over time, he has become a fan favorite and is well-known for his on-track dedication and off-track charisma.

Although Langberg started his racing career later than many of his peers, he quickly established himself as a recognizable presence in the racing community. His commitment to continuously improving his performance behind the wheel is matched only by the infectious enthusiasm and energy he brings to every race weekend. His time in the Ferrari Challenge Series has made him a standout figure among fans and competitors alike.

Before turning his attention to racing, Langberg spent over four decades in the investment management industry, where he worked as an analyst and portfolio counselor until his retirement in 2018. Following his departure from the financial world, Langberg channeled his energy into two passions: motorsports and raising awareness for Relapsing Polychondritis (RP), a rare and degenerative autoimmune disease. As a co-founder of the Race for RP program, he has played a key role in driving awareness and fueling research and education efforts aimed at finding better treatments.

Known affectionately in the paddock as the “Old Guy Racer,” Langberg’s nickname reflects the wisdom he shares with fellow competitors and the contagious positivity he brings to every event. Langberg aims to continue to win the hearts of McLaren Trophy America fans while racing to make a positive impact for Relapsing Polychondritis and other autoimmune diseases that are not incurable, just underfunded.
