For the past decade, Holton has risen through the ranks of sports car racing, competing in various series, including the IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship, IMSA Michelin Pilot Challenge, and SRO America.​​
 
His title successes include first wins in North America for the McLaren 570s GT4 and the Audi RS3 LMS TCR, as well as clenching the World Challenge TC class champion title in 2017.
 
Holton made an amazing run at the 2024 IMSA GS Championship capturing third in the driver point standings, along with securing his first race win for Team TGM at Watkins Glen, and was integral in Team TGM capturing the overall GS Team Championship.
